Case Description

A 45-year-old male presented with debilitating low back and leg pain, significantly limiting his mobility to no more than 20 feet without experiencing severe discomfort.

Surgical Goals

  • Achieve complete resolution of back and leg pain.

Surgical Intervention

The patient underwent a minimally invasive laminectomy and fusion from L4 to the sacrum.

Outcome

At over two years postoperatively, the patient continues to do well, with a successful return to work within six weeks of surgery.
